Absolutely stunning Carol Brass CPT-5200L-RLM-SSL-PIB in MINT condition! I'd love to keep it but the reason I ultimately decided to sell it is because I have another Carol Brass model that also has a red brass bell so the color pallets of these two horns are very similar. And I'm looking for something on the other end of the spectrum; that super bright and piercing commercial lead trumpet sound. This is an unabashed plug for Carol Brass trumpets.
Each horn is hand made by expert craftsmen at their state of the art plant in Taiwan. Their designs are innovative and yield world class horns for a broad spectrum of players and playing styles. In my opinion, you just can't beat the combination of build quality, playability, and price! You can pay 2 or 3 times more for high end designer horns, but they won't have better quality. And unless you are a professional player, you will not be able to discern any differences in how they play. The Carol Brass valve sections are the best in the business, and they supply them to some of the highest end manufacturers. As expected, valve action is fast, smooth, and light. This horn is VERY attractive and plays amazingly well! The large taper red brass bell gives this horn a very broad, rich, and mellow sound. This is an awesome ballad horn!And the brushed satin silver looks awesome! It has this almost translucent appearance that is absolutely stunning! This gives you the option to keep the super slick brushed satin silver look or you can switch to the polished silver slides as a change of pace.
