I don't know if it's been discontinued, or continued as the Mark II version (which to me wasn't as good).

I've been playing a 6345HG as my main "legit" horn since I bought it in 1990. I have not found any of the later models (HII, Xeno, Artist series) or other manufacturers to outplay it. It has a killer sound. I bought it at the 1990 ITG Conference and tried it out with Pierre Thibaud.
I think he took one just like it, but silver, home with him as well. I really like the 8310Z for big band & shows because of its great response, so I split most of my time between these two horns. The NYS Bb has tempted me several times, but I still like the 6345HG better and those Artist series horns aren't cheap.
I will include a 7C mouthpiece. Look the pictures over carefully.
